2014 Mr Mak took on the persona of TTechmak to produce his first electronic/jazz album TTechmak Vol.1 "Unnecessary Update". The album was extremely well received and helped expose Mak to a whole new audience. The TTechmak live band was formed the same year and draws from many musical styles and influences, but specifically is trying to blend Jazz with modern EDM sounds.
In 2016 Mak collaborated with prolific and highly-regarded Beijing producer Jeff Liang, aka Soulspeak on their album "Love in the Land of Robots". Released on the Ran music Label the album claimed the no.8 spot on That's Shanghai's top 50 Chinese albums of 2016 as well as reaching a no.2 spot on Taiwan's alternate iTunes Charts.
