Edited on 14/02/2020 due to high number of cancelled and rescheduled events in response to the Corona Virus. We have updated our refund policy on the advice of various parties to account for this force majeure situation. Timings have been changed for cancellations as well as more clear language for rescheduled events.
Please note - most promoters and event organisers do NOT issue refunds. If you cannot go to an event you will not get your money back.
However, occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the team, performer or Event Partner for a variety of reasons.
Unless indicated otherwise in relation to a particular event, if an event is cancelled, ticket holders will be offered seats at any rescheduled event (subject to availability) up to the face value of the tickets. For rescheduled or postponed events it is up to the event organiser or promoter to decide if cancellations are allowed, and if so if there may be a cancellation fee charged.
Cancellations and postponements as a result of force majeure will be handled on a case by case basis, and may be subject to different policy.
Refunds for tickets purchased prior to the date of the original event will be given up to their face value plus the relevant per ticket booking fee, unlike others we don't hold on to that.
If an event takes place over several days and only one day is cancelled, a partial refund only may be payable corresponding to the day(s) cancelled. If the event is moved or rescheduled, the Event Partner may set refund limitations.
There are a few ways you can claim your refund.
We'll contact you as soon as we know the event has been cancelled and we'll come and pick up your tickets as soon as it's convenient for you, free of charge of course.
You can come and drop your tickets off at our offices.
You can send your tickets to us at our office address.
For accounting purposes your unused tickets must be received within 28 days from the date of the cancelled event.
Once the tickets are received they need to be verified with the event organiser, and once this is done we will send your refund back to you, again free of charge. The whole process can take up to 28 days depending on the speed of the verification process but on average you'll have your refund back within 3-4 days.
Please remember that depending on the Event Partner you may have a limited time to claim the refund. After this time any refund is given at the sole descretion of the Event Partner. In other words, reply to us as soon as you can to get your refund. You can contact us as any time to ask for a specific event refund policy.
We know that you want your refund back as soon as possible and being a licenced ticket agency we take the responsiblity very seriously. If you have any queries at all, talk to us live.
Refundable ticket option:
247 customers have the chance to opt in for refundable tickets for selected events, based on these terms and conditions.
If a customer is unable to attend an event for a reason listed in the terms and conditions, they must follow the instructions to apply for a refund. If accepted, the full amount including the refundable ticket charge, will be returned within 5-7 working days.
In the case of an event cancellation, the refundable ticket charge is not refundable. In this case, the total amount of the ticket/s (not including the refundable ticket charge) will be subject to 247’s refund policy stated above.
