About The Show

Polar Bears in the Sky, an international classic example of children's theatre for young children (2-6 years old), is a silly, sweet show that has a lot to live up to.

It was born 12 years ago in Edinburgh, the world's leading children's theatre town, and has been a hit ever since. In 2020, it was selected by the Edinburgh International Children's Festival as an official recommendation for online productions, and it is now being presented to young children all over the UK.

A small play, how come such "bear strength"? Before you take your child into the theater, let's warm up! Read a story, play with a cardboard box, do a little polar bear quiz and come back to the theatre for a warm bear hug!

Bingo! The idea of this play's stage installation comes from Claire - the designer of the super popular "Paper Beauty". After building the world's only cardboard house theater with her bare hands, she built a polar surprise hut for polar bears.

About The Story

A long, long time ago, there were two polar bears ......
One was called Tall and Wide and one was called Little and Cute.
(Well, this is the name we gave them both, after watching the show, you also give them a name, right?)

Don't look at them two dumb and dumb look, together in a piece is a fighter level polar creative golden partner. Eat a breakfast, but also the cup ah spoon ah milk bottle ah combination into percussion, wind instruments. Waiting for the sandwich out of the oven, but also can use the plate back to DJ a disc!
