As a uniquely distinctive presence between Los Angeles and Moscow, Pompeya blend tropical sensibilities into “KINO”-style driving grooves. Their nostalgic yet modern sound has an almost dreamlike quality: the sophistication of ’70s disco, the energy of ’80s new wave pop, laid-back warmth, and sparkling guitar riffs drifting together through the air like smoke.

 

 

Pompeya evokes the spirit of passionate road movies, Stranger Things, and Life Is Strange — preserving youthful memories tinged with the atmosphere of the 1990s.

 

The timeless glow of “90,” distorted sunsets beneath neon lights, the lingering warmth of the past flowing through synthesizers, midnight moments where your body can’t help but move with the drums…

 

Now, seven years later, Pompeya finally returns to you once again in early summer: beloved classics, brand-new releases, and an expanded live lineup featuring two additional backing vocalists for this tour. About the Band 
Formed in Moscow in 2006, Pompeya has undergone several lineup changes over the years. The current lineup consists of vocalist/guitarist Daniil Brod, bassist Denis Agafonov, drummer Egor Bespalov, and keyboardist Vlad Marushchak.Crossing borders and generations alike, the Moscow-born band has crafted a truly singular sound. Their music fuses the funk and disco of the 1970s with the indie and pop sounds of the ’80s and ’90s, infusing retro warm tones with modern imagination. Over more than fifteen years together, Pompeya have toured across the globe — from Los Angeles to Shanghai, from Mexico City to Barcelona. Their new EP Thanks, together with 2025’s Awesome, will form a full-length album.
