Born in 1989, Israeli musician Lahav Shani is considered one of the most talented young stars of classical music. Studied with Daniel Barenboim, he started working as an assistant with Zubin Mehta for the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in 2010 and will become its next Music Director in 2020. In his first Chinese tour, Shani will collaborate with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, for whom he is now the Chief Conductor. His first concert is a great chance for the audience to experience his versatileness as both pianist and conductor.
