Following the preview in Warrington, Electric Eden will fly to China for the Shanghai International Festival. With performances from an electrifying ensemble, the production features the voice of Peter Mullan (Tyrannosaur, Sunshine on Leith) and live music from SLYDIGS frontman, Dean Fairhurst, who recently toured America, Canada and Europe with rock legends, The Who.

ELECTRIC EDEN celebrates community spirit and our connection to music in this 90-minute site-specific production. A group of misfits are left to save their beloved nightclub after the death of their gaffer, Grandfather and friend, Tommy Eden. Injustice is rife around here, but when the group decide to make stand, are they heading for the mother of all hangovers? Not so many hippies, hoodies and placards, but air guitar, glow sticks and UV war paint.

After a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe, NTT is back inviting you to a celebration of what it means to make your voice heard and be a part of something. Relentlessly upbeat and unpredictable, this is party theatre at its best!

Not Too Tame was founded by Jimmy Fairhurst in 2008. Not Too Tame is an award-winning ensemble of actors who are firmly founded on the belief of ‘Theatre for All’. Focusing specifically on creating work that breaks the boundaries of time, polite theatre, we aim to engage those who feel that theatre isn’t a place where they belong. Forging relationships between traditional theatre buildings and a network of urban, rural, non-traditional theatre venues, Not Too Tame are continuing to bring popular theatre to the masses, whilst also boosting the local economy and changing expectations of what theatre can and should be.
