Vibrant young cellist, Zhu Mu, has performed globally as a soloist andchamber musician. He has been the featured artist in countries such as China, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, and United States.

 

Zhu Mu was the winner of the Central Conservatory of Music Cello Competition inBeijing, the 4th China National Duo Cello Competition, and prize winner of the 2006 Bayreuther International Music Competition in Germany.

 

 

An active chamber musician, Zhu Mu notonly performs traditional repertoire but actively is part of the contemporarymusic scene performing works by leading Chinese and Pan-Asian composers.

 

Zhu Mu has performed in various new musicconcert series held in South Korea, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong which has featured works by the 2011 Pulitzer Prize winner Zhou Long, world-renowncomposers Chen Yi, Ye Xiaogang, Daron Aric Hagen, Gilda Lyons.
