The European pianist who has travelled the world

Performing four of Beethoven's most famous piano sonatas

"I am determined to remove all obstacles, I believe that fate will not abandon me, I am afraid I need to fully assess my own strength, I will take fate by the throat"

---- Beethoven

Throughout the history of the world of piano art, the thirty-two piano sonatas left by the famous German composer Ludwig van Beethoven have always been highly sought-after, and are no less than artistic masterpieces that transcend time and space. As one of the most important German composers in the history of European music, Beethoven's thirty-two piano sonatas have been hailed as the 'New Testament' of piano music, a landmark. Beethoven's 32 sonatas are distinct from the elegant style of Mozart and other royalty, developing a wide range of playing, using strong contrasts in intensity to create dramatic acoustics; highlighting the contrasting materials within the sonata structure, expanding the contradictions in the unfolding section as a driving force for development; containing strong personalities and ideas, the juxtaposition of musical images and a rigorous and varied structure is of high aesthetic value. In the middle of his career, Beethoven's musical ideas matured and his techniques became more sophisticated, developing innovative changes such as the expansion of internal structures, rich harmonies, complex tonal changes and the use of thematic motives.
