TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.

 

TED是一个致力于以传播新思想为宗旨的非营利组织，通常以简短有力的演讲(18分钟或更少)的形式出现。TED成立于1984年，最初以技术（Techonology，娱乐（Entertainment）和设计（Design）为主题，经过三十余年的发展，话题已涵盖从科学到商业到社会问题等方方面面的全球性大会，语言超过100余种。这里汇聚了全球最新最优秀的思想与技术，包括比尔盖茨，克林顿，杨澜等在内的众多知名科学家，企业家，艺术家等都曾在TED舞台上传播思想。

 

TEDx brings the spirit of TED’s mission of ideas worth spreading to local communities around the globe. TEDx events are organized by curious individuals who seek to discover ideas and spark conversations in their own community. TEDx events include live speakers and recorded TED Talks, and are organized independently under a free license granted by TED.

 

TEDx秉承TED传播新思想之使命，在经过TED官方授权后由粉丝发起的本土化活动，旨在为的是发掘本地思想，推动全球发展。TEDx策展团队坚信思想改变世界的力量，希望通过聆听演讲人现场演讲、共同观看TED 演讲视频，触发演讲者和听众之间深⼊的交流和联系，获得启发与鼓舞。 “x”即是独立组织的TED活动之意，也是多元化的融合象征。

 

TEDxXujiahui was approved by TED Headquarter in the US in February 2018. It is a professional team with a lot of expertise in TED and TEDx events. It is also one of the few TEDx Licenses that could hold an event with over 100 attendees.

 

TEDxXujiahui于18年2月正式获得官方牌照，并为国内少数拥有百人以上大会筹办资格的牌照。团队拥有丰富的策展经验，年轻而充满创造力，我们的理念是期望让每一人的声音都被听见。我们简约而不简单，因为我们有着一个伟大的愿景：让来自中国舞台的声音走向世界。TEDxXujiahui为非营利组织，活动所有盈余均将投入到公益和组织运营与活动中，运营团队成员均无报酬志愿参与。
