The Volvo China Open, established in 1995, is one of China’s leading professional golf tournaments and a key event on the DP World Tour. Taking place from April 23–26, 2026 at Shanghai Enhance Anting Golf Club, the tournament brings together top international players and emphasizes sustainability, community engagement, and the development of golf in China.
 
This is a world-class course tailored for championship events, masterfully designed by renowned contemporary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. As the designer of over 270 premier courses across more than 40 countries, RTJ II is celebrated for crafting courses that are both challenging and strategic. His work incorporates a range of subtle elements that test a player’s skills, including punishing layouts, strategic decision-making, and optimal shot placement, fully reflecting a golfer’s overall ability.

**Ticket Purchase Guidelines**

**1. Is this event a real-name ticketing event?**
Yes, this event uses real-name electronic tickets. One ticket per person.
Children under 3 are not admitted.
Children aged 3 to 12 are admitted free of charge, and each adult may bring up to two children with free admission.
For each session, the same mobile phone number may purchase a maximum of 6 tickets. Purchasers must provide their real name, valid personal ID, and valid personal mobile phone number to complete the ticket purchase and real-name registration. After a successful purchase, ticket holders must keep the electronic ticket information safe. Mainland Chinese spectators (including minors) must present their original valid ID cards for admission. Other spectators must complete real-name registration on the ticketing platform in advance using a valid identification document, and then use the electronic QR code from the ticketing platform for admission.

**2. What is the refund policy?**
Given that ticket holders may be unable to attend the event due to certain circumstances after purchase, the Volvo China Open will offer a green channel for refunds to purchasers who bought tickets through the official designated ticketing platform. The specific refund rules are as follows:

During the period from 18:00:00 on March 13, 2026 to 17:59:59 on April 3, 2026, purchasers may request a refund unconditionally during the ticketing platform customer service team's normal working hours.

During the period from 18:00:00 on April 3, 2026 to 17:59:59 on April 15, 2026, purchasers requesting a refund will be charged a handling fee of 10% of the ticket price.

During the period from 18:00:00 on April 15, 2026 to 17:59:59 on April 22, 2026, purchasers requesting a refund will be charged a handling fee of 20% of the ticket price.

Refund requests will no longer be accepted after 18:00:00 on April 22, 2026.

When requesting a refund, purchasers must refund the entire order. This means that if an order contains multiple tickets, refunds for individual or partial tickets will not be accepted; only refunds for all tickets under that order number are supported.

**3. Who is eligible for the discounted single ticket for youth/seniors?**
Youths aged 12 to 24 and seniors over 60. Eligible youths and seniors must present a valid ID to verify age. Age is calculated based on the date of birth shown on the valid ID as of January 1, 2026.

**4. I purchased a Volvo Pavilion ticket. Can my child enter the Volvo Pavilion for free?**
Yes, each adult spectator holding a Volvo Pavilion ticket may bring one child under 1.2 meters in height into the Volvo Pavilion for free. Handcarts of any kind, including strollers, are not permitted inside the Volvo Pavilion.

 

**For an enjoyable experience at the event, please observe the following spectator code of conduct**

**Before entering the venue, you should:**

- Dress neatly and appropriately. It is recommended to wear attire that follows golf etiquette, along with comfortable, durable casual shoes. Bring warm and rainproof outerwear, and take sun protection measures in advance.
- The venue is a natural environment, so please take precautions against mosquitoes and insects.
- Only walking is permitted inside the venue. No mobility aids other than wheelchairs are allowed.
- For items prohibited from the event as listed, please proactively store them at the bag check area before entering the venue.
- Access the player tee time sheet and course map via the Volvo China Open WeChat public account to stay updated on player positions and the latest event news.
- In the event of lightning or other special circumstances, please follow the instructions of venue staff.
- Do not engage in solicitation, selling of items, or other such activities without permission. Also, do not obtain event items from unofficial sources.

**After entering the venue, keep quiet and stay safe**

- Spectators are welcome to share the event on social media platforms, but must comply with the event's rules regarding photography and video recording.
- In competition areas such as the course, practice range, and practice greens, always keep your phone volume off, and turn off the flash and shutter sound on your camera.
- Do not make loud noises inside the venue. When a player addresses the ball to prepare for a shot, or when course-side staff hold up a "quiet please" sign, please fall silent immediately, remain still in place, and refrain from moving around or making any other sounds.
- Always be aware of your surroundings on the course to ensure personal and property safety.
- Watch the competition from behind the safety ropes. Do not enter unauthorized areas.
- The event broadcast will be seen around the world on television. Therefore, please keep the venue clean and dispose of beverage and food packaging, cigarette butts, and other litter in trash bins.
- Individuals or organizations not authorized by the event may not live-stream the competition.

**Can children and youth be brought into the course?**

- Spectators under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a spectator aged 18 or older. The accompanying adult must fulfill their duty of supervision and education throughout the event, ensuring that the minor(s) in their care observe proper spectator etiquette. If a minor disrupts the order of the competition, the accompanying adult will bear corresponding responsibility. If the behavior is severe or repeated, staff have the right to ask the adult to leave the venue together with the minor.
- For a better spectator experience, it is not recommended to bring children under the age of 6 onto the course.

**After the competition ends**

If you wish to obtain a player's autograph, wait for the player at the autograph area set up by the event near the scoring center after the player has completed their 18 holes and submitted their scorecard.
- Invite players for a photo only after their round has ended.
- Leave the venue in an orderly manner following the event's directions.

 

**Admission Guidelines**

Welcome to the Volvo China Open. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all spectators, please note the following:

Spectators attending the Volvo China Open must comply with these *Volvo China Open Admission Guidelines* and the *Spectator Code of Conduct*. In accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and government directives, all spectators and their carry-on baggage must undergo security screening before entering the Volvo China Open. Please follow the instructions of staff during the security screening process. All personal carry-on baggage must be inspected, and all spectators must pass through a metal detector.

Spectators may bring manual wheelchairs, as well as electric wheelchairs with at least three wheels and a speed not exceeding 16 km/h (used solely to assist spectators with disabilities, elderly conditions, or specific health issues that limit mobility). Spectators are prohibited from bringing strollers, pushchairs, or other mobility aids (other than wheelchairs) into the venue.

Please respect other spectators, staff (including but not limited to event personnel and volunteers), and players. Use polite language and refrain from any dangerous, illegal, disruptive, or aggressive behavior. For your safety and the safety of others, do not run inside the venue. The venue is a natural environment, so please watch for snakes. If you encounter a snake, remain calm and go around it. If bitten by a snake, promptly contact course staff or medical personnel for professional assistance.

While queuing, please respect other spectators and avoid colliding with or pushing others. All members of your party must queue together. Spectators who are inappropriately or indecently dressed, or whose attire may affect the experience of others, may be refused entry or asked to leave the venue.

You should keep an eye on your personal belongings at all times and are responsible for their safety.

Tickets are valid only for the named holder during the validity period. Once a spectator leaves the venue, re-entry is not permitted.

**The following items may not be brought into the venue:**

- Long-handled umbrellas, flammable or explosive items (e.g., firecrackers), handcarts, knives, weapons, replica weapons or toy guns (including toy blasters, water guns, etc.).
- Alcohol and alcoholic beverages.
- Glass bottles, glass jars, or other glass containers.
- Bags, containers, or luggage exceeding 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm in size.
- Suitcases or luggage of any size with wheels. The following conveyances or vehicles of any size (except as otherwise specified for strollers), including but not limited to: camping carts, pull-behind child carriers, handcarts, children's tricycles, wheeled transport tools, luggage with child seats, and trailer-type items (whether pushed, pulled, or towed by electric mobility devices, wheelchairs, strollers, or manual power); strollers exceeding 110 cm in length or 80 cm in width (including all accessories or expandable attachments fully extended). Recreational equipment with wheels, such as roller skates, wheeled shoes, skateboards, and scooters.
- Kites, remote-controlled devices (e.g., drones and remote-controlled toys).
- Cameras, camcorders, extendable selfie sticks, tripods, gimbals, lighting equipment, and other photography-related devices that may pose a safety risk to others, interfere with the event or the operation of any related facilities, or disrupt the overall spectator environment.
- Animals (except guide dogs). Guide dogs must remain on a leash and under the owner's supervision at all times. Entry of guide dogs into the venue is not recommended. Items prohibited by applicable laws, as well as other dangerous or disruptive items.

**The following activities are prohibited:**

- Distributing or displaying any form of printed materials or recordings, or using any flags, banners, or signs.
- Holding assemblies, themed events, performances, or speeches.
- Climbing or crossing any fences, safety ropes, barriers, or other facilities designed to restrict or separate spectators, or entering areas behind the safety ropes or any other unauthorized areas of the venue.
- Conduct described in the Volvo China Open alcohol policy, such as deliberately concealing alcohol upon entry; attempting to use false identification; purchasing alcohol for minors; or attempting to purchase or possess alcohol as a minor.
- Using permitted conveyances or vehicles (including strollers) solely for the purpose of transporting personal items, merchandise, or other physical objects.
- Engaging in photography, videography, audio recording, or live streaming, except for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Conducting any interviews without prior permission, including but not limited to photography, videography, audio recording, or interviewing spectators or staff.
- Any dangerous behavior or conduct that may interfere with the event.
- Any act that violates the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China.

**Our Rights:**

- We may photograph, film, and/or record the event at any time. By entering the event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, and/or recorded, and you agree that we may use images and/or recordings containing your likeness and/or voice for our internal business, administrative, and operational purposes or other directly related purposes, for purposes of complying with legal, safety, or security requirements, or for other lawful purposes.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to or require the immediate departure of any person who fails to comply with these admission rules or engages in dangerous, illegal, disruptive, or aggressive behavior, or for safety, security, or order reasons, or as we deem necessary, without refund, liability, or compensation.
- For reasons of event capacity, severe weather (including but not limited to typhoons, lightning), special activities, event safety or spectator order, or in other necessary circumstances, we may from time to time change event opening hours, temporarily close any part of the venue to the general public, control the number of spectators admitted, etc. We may refuse entry to or require the departure of individual spectators.
- For safety reasons, we may take appropriate action regarding any unattended items, items that disrupt venue order, or unauthorized items.
- These admission guidelines are subject to change. If any mandatory legal provisions apply, those provisions shall prevail. "We" as referred to in these guidelines means "the Volvo China Open organizer and co-organizers."
