As the city progresses and develops, we wish that the city we love will be nicer and more inclusive towards diverse culture. At the end of July next to the Suzhou river, Woodstock of Eating has teamed up with Shanghai’s iconic creative art district M50, as well as uniting several 1st tier cities of China, to create this 3 days party featuring special exhibition, pop up music festival, fun interactive games, and iconic street food.

1: An World Expo has always been a living encyclopedia, and a name card, for our pleasant urban life.

In 1964, at the New York World’s Fair, including presidents of many countries, governors of many states, famous stars and other 51 million people who love their urban life style, shared and celebrated this unprecedented World Expo in front of the iconic gigantic globe/tellurion. Due to the implantation of many commercial elements, the fair was able to show the tourists “dinosaurs” that are several stories high, human’s experiment base on moon, super realistic space port combining with space ships, and the very first baby form of Disney’s theme park…the designers of the fair used their imagination and creativity showed the world a blueprint of the future world.

After about half a century, with the expanding consuming culture as well as more cooperations between different fields, commerce has become an unavoidable part of our daily life in the city. At the same time, each city as an individual has been developing its own aesthetic culture. Let’s just take a moment to imagine, if commerce can become the force that pushes a city’s diverse aesthetic culture, then maybe we can open up a new world for the same old urban life.

Woodstock of Eating, the promoter of urban pop culture who gathered food, music, fresh creative fashion goods and other products of young Indi brand, believes that our city is becoming nicer and more inclusive. At the end of July, in Shanghai’s iconic art district M50, which is next to the Suzhou river, we are going to unite many cities’ resources and create a aesthetic exhibition with pop up music, party, and iconic street food that will last for 3 days. We are showing our respect to the New York World’s Fair that took place half century ago, with our URBAN AESTHETICS EXPO.

When you arrive at this Aesthetic feast next to the Suzhou river, most likely there will be a voice popping up from the bottom of your heart: “This is the amazing world that belongs to us”

2: The 3 days carnival with Shanghai's urban aestheticians is the first large-scale activity of 2017.

Woodstock of Eating have teamed up with Shanghai Cultural & Art Landmark M50 Creative Park to present the very first massive activity in Shanghai. Gathers 7 cities, 40 urban aesthetics brands and 300 urban aesthetics promoters, with the support of M50 Creative Park, together presents the 2017 Shanghai URBAN AESTHETICS EXPO.

It’s a bold and unprecedented cross-regional and cross-domain innovation that transcends monotonous beauty-appreciation, reproducing the carnival in the Woodstock Era.

 Shanghai Art Landmark-M50 Creative Park

M50 is a service provider of artistic life, with its subordinate M50 Brand Park as well as M50 Brand Center. As the Shanghai cultural and artistic landmark, M50 has kept long-term cooperation with prestigious art institutions all over the world and boasts rich park operation and managerial experience. M50 Brand Center provides: cultural service programs such as light art exhibitions, spatial operation, park planning, business consultation, innovative design and art planning; this year it even collaborates with various circles including art, education and creativity, and focuses for the first time on the field of children’s creative art. It launched the M50 Domestic and International Children’s Creative Art Competition Session 1 this June.

M50 Park is located at Moganshan Road 50 of the south bank peninsular of Suizhou River. It covers about 41 mu land and its floor area is 41,606 square meters. It owns over 50 industrial constructions costages from 1930s to 1990s, making it the most complete national industrial construction remains beside Suzhou River.
