Umwelt is an electro producer from Lyon, France, who emerged from a 90’s rave background. Having experienced the rave and electro movements of the French scene first hand, he has initiated labels and produced dozens of releases through his career.

In 2016, after a long spell off the radar, this expert in ferocious distortions tinted with sweet melancholy delivered his second album, entitled Days of Dissent and released on Boidae.  This is an album filled with dark futuristic vibes that remind a bad trip in an 80’s cyberpunk film. The opus was highly acclaimed by the public and the press, which proclaimed it an electro referent.

 

Letting instinct guide him in his path, the Lyon-based artist, a vinyl and analogue freak, continues the work of early pioneers with a wild and straight-to-the-dancefloor mode of transport, while progressively leading the listener into dark, melancholic, dancing and mental atmospheres where he alone has total control over the side effects.

 

 

Having appeared seemingly out of nowhere in late 2015 with his thunderingstrain of 90s flavoured club production,Belgian based club-mentalist Bulma has been taking the darkened underworld of the club music spectrum by storm.

 

Bulma’ssound is amaddening, clattering fusion of disparate influence,which has taken him to releases on WDIS and most recently, US avant-bass label Symbols for his Crime Scene EP.

He has been playing alongside Lotic, Rabit, Kid Antoine, Slugabed, Murlo, SegaBodega, Dj Paypal, HNRK, Dj Heroin, Pictureplane, Blastto…

 

Stone aka Sulk combines a passion for electronic music with a true appreciation for alternative art. His taste in music reflects this and at just nineteen years old he shows a maturity beyond his years. Although only having been djing for a couple of years, he has a natural flow that is rare and has a gift for injecting the dancefloor with energy and atmosphere.

 

He has a love for hard but groovy techno although his interests go far beyond with inspirations coming from artists such as the Cocteau Twins to the sounds of Belgian New Beat and UK New Romantics.
Aside from djing he has begun to make some seriously interesting techno as well as starting his own event, Wax and Wane which is a melting pot for all of his favourite kinds of music.

This is a guy who won’t be following any trends, he has a taste all of his own. When you hear him play you are guaranteed to be hearing music you haven’t heard before and you won’t go home disappointed.
