Exhibition 1: Huang Yulong: The Missing Face

Disappearing faces, carnival deconstruction and lightweight civilization

Hip-hop originated from the changes in the power structure of urban spaces. Minorities defined cultural areas through music parties and graffiti. Artist Kang Shixin has established his own painting language with non-narrative and undefined images. Brilliant colors, gravity-free floating space with binary structure, and multi-dimensional narrative language combining images and words, what he paints is the original ecology of the aesthetics of metaverse that travels through time and space without age.

Kang Shixin grew up on the island, and often had the opportunity to go to the seaside, snorkel in the sea to experience the loneliness surrounded by seawater, and defy gravity to float on the sea. About How Art Museum (Shanghai)

HOW Art Museum (Shanghai) is a brand-new cultural institution with the functions of contemporary art collection, display, research and education. It is located in Pudong, Shanghai. It has three floors of exhibition and event space with a total area of about 7,000 square meters. It was officially opened in September 2017 Open, pioneering the operation mode of "Night Art Museum".
