Sax: Mike Hirsch
born and raised in Boston, USA, began studying and playing jazz saxophone at the age of eight. He studied in high school with renowned jazz artist and educator Jerry Bergonzi, and received scholarships to Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory of Music. Mike is a graduate of Stanford University, where he was on the faculty of the Stanford Jazz Studio. He has performed with Wynton Marsalis, Jerry Bergonzi, Jon Faddis, Louis Bellson, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Jon Nemeth and other notable musicians at major music venues throughout North America and Europe. Mike currently resides in Shanghai and Los Angeles with his family.
