Throughout his lifetime, he created three pieces of dance music: Swan Lake (1875-1876), Sleeping Beauty (1888-1889), and The Nutcracker (1891-1892), which have attained unparalleled influence in the realm of dance art and are extensively performed on ballet stages across various countries.
