Vocal: Kokoh Conley
Kokoh Conley hails from rural Texas where she was immersed in an environment that deeply appreciated music's artistic value while fostering a passion for mastering diverse musical techniques that greatly influenced her artistry. She pursued studies in Performing Arts & Visual Arts at Booker T.Washington School of Music alongside notable alumni such as Erykah Badu,Roy Hargrove,Keith Anderson,and Norah Jones.
At just 19 years old,Kokoh established her own jazz ensemble,taking on lead vocal duties.This bold move captured significant attention from major record labels,resulting in her debut album,MELTDOWN,released with support from RCA. Leon Ware contributed significantly as songwriter for most tracks. Other collaborators included Danny Sembeloand Marti Sharon. She showcased her talents at Long Beach Jazz Festival,a celebration of popular jazz. Her international acclaim soared when she received invitations to perform at boththe 2008 Beijing Olympicsin Chinaandthe 2010 Winter Olympicsin Vancouver.
