My Bloody Valentine, Beach House, Ride, Lush, Cocteau Twins —
constellations in the shoegaze firmament, guiding a once-hidden genre into wider recognition and engraving themselves into the musical canon.

Years later, in Minnesota, a group of Gen Z artists who grew up beneath the glow of those same stars began to chart their own course. Following the lineage of their predecessors, they adopted a name as poetic and enigmatic as the music they make —
she’s green.

 

 

she’s green specialize in fusing airy, fragile vocals with thickly layered guitars and immersive reverb, conjuring a sonic world that feels submerged — weightless, drifting, and gently disorienting. The two guitarists of she’s green arrive at the instrument from strikingly different paths.

Liam, once a cameraman for a radio station, carries a lifelong devotion to cinema and visual storytelling. He has become the band’s in-house visual architect, personally crafting the artwork and music videos for their singles and EPs, shaping a fully realized visual language that echoes the dreamlike qualities of their sound.

Raines, meanwhile, inhabits a world of equations and theory — a dual-degree scholar in mathematics and economics and a researcher at the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Global Land Use and Environment Lab (GLUE). Perhaps most unexpectedly, he has dedicated the past fifteen years to studying Mandarin, forging an intimate and unusual connection between the band and Chinese culture long before their arrival.

 

As she’s green prepare for their first-ever tour in China, anticipation runs high across the entire group. Departing from Minneapolis and landing in Beijing, they will cross continents to deliver a tour created especially for Chinese fans — a long-awaited encounter between music, distance, and devotion.
