The Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra is a highly professional, traditional and internationally sought-after Viennese chamber orchestra, which has been very successful since its inception in 1994. The orchestra consists of renowned musicians from all of Vienna’s most important orchestras.

The members of the orchestra are young, dedicated and artistically highly qualified musicians. All of them have previously played in various orchestras and well-known concert halls in Austria and have received their education and training at internationally renowned conservatories and universities. The Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra has a long tradition of working with singers and ballet dancers.
In addition to the high musical level, the orchestra is also known for its unified sound, its charming stage presence, as well as a highly professional appearance. In addition to the regular concerts at the Schoenbrunn Palace Orangery, the orchestra has also become a very important ambassador of Austria and has had many international successes – among others, in Japan, Croatia, Germany, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Denmark.
Conductor: Kattah Macedo Vinicius
Born in 1986 in Brazil, the young conductor, Vinicius Kattah, was the winner of the 1st-Prize at the Blue Danube International Opera Conducting Competition 2011 and the 3rd-Prize at the 7th "Luigi Mancinelli" Opera Conductors' International Competition 2016. Kattah is based in Vienna, Austria and during the last 7 years, he has worked with several orchestras conducting at the Vienna State Opera, Musikverein, Konzerthaus, Hofburg, Schloss Schoenbrunn and others. He is currently the chief conductor of the Johann Strauss Virtuosen Orchestra and the Metropolitan Kammerorchester.
