Romeo & Juliet
A musical by Gérard Presgurvic
Author’s word
Because dying of love at 15 is the most “beautiful” and the most terrible of fates. Because a gesture as absolute and definitive as preferring to die together rather than live apart, will forever remain the craziest of mysteries and the clearest proof of Love.
Because life without love is nothing.
The creation of this Musical in Paris in 2001 was such a success that after Switzerland and Belgium, the show has since traveled all over the world. England, Canada, Holland and Flemish Belgium, Hungary, Russia, Austria and Korea.
With the Asia Tour of 2007 we were able to offer the public a new show. A gigantic “Colisean” Scenery with two very high towers where the Capulets and the Montagues live. New Costumes more colorful and more adapted to the new choreography, and even four new songs that enrich the dramaturgy.
Over 400,000 people cheered on the new Cast in Asia. Damien Sargue and Tom Ross being the only survivors of Paris… How to do without the Grace of the first and the strength of the second?
This New Version, returned to Paris in 2010, offers the quintessence of all the versions already played around the world, and we hope for it a “reference” version for the future.
The Asia Tour resumed in 2009, 2012, 2015 in Seoul and continued its journey to China and Japan.
It also continues to be performed all over the world, after Slovakia, Mexico, Japan and Russia, it came to life in the beautiful arenas of Verona, and is played as far away as Israel, spreading a universal message of love to worldwide…
