Rock the Musical is a landmark French live music event making its China debut this September - a collision of musical theatre, rock concert, and intimate storytelling that defies easy categorisation.

Led by Damien Sargue, one of France's most celebrated stage performers and a veteran of the global Romeo & Juliet the Musical phenomenon, Rock the Musical brings together an extraordinary creative team for a city-limited tour that stops at Shanghai PHASE Live House on September 19 and 20.

At its heart, this is a show about what rock music means — not as a genre, but as a spirit. Passion. Freedom. Rebellion. And emotion. Under the musical direction of Cyril Niccolai and the production vision of Jérôme Collet, the full live band delivers an evening of international rock anthems reimagined with the theatrical flair and emotional intensity of the French stage tradition.

Concept director Elisa Petrolo has built the show around a simple but powerful idea: that a live house concert and a musical theatre experience need not be separate things. Rock the Musical inhabits the space between them — raw, visceral, and completely alive.
