Rival Consoles
London-based producer Ryan Lee West, better known as Rival Consoles, has the reputation for his ability to make synthesisers sound organically human and atmospheric. Over the course of a critically acclaimed eighteen-year career, his music has diversified from the challenging electronic output of his early EPs to gradually becoming more conceptual and metamorphic.
In July 2025, he released Landscape from Memory on Erased Tapes, marking a new chapter in his ongoing pursuit of sonic refinement and evolution. This live A/V show will be performed in China for the first time. The new creation is a fully immersive audio-visual experience, featuring material from the new album alongside selections from Rival Consoles’ earlier work and beyond. Visuals are co-created and performed in real time by Sky Ainsbury, adding a compelling visual dimension to the evolving soundscape.
Ranging from deep ambient compositions to his distinctive take on techno, the performance unfolds as a long-form narrative — a dynamic exploration of sound and form, with many ideas presented live for the first time.
