Picasso L’été du Cubisme (The Summer of Cubism), a special exhibition of Picasso's paintings and sculptures, traces Picasso's artistic development from the Cubist period to his later years. Starting with summer and taking style experiment as the clue, when the clear light of summer immersed into the whole picture, Picasso began to explore the sense of rhythm of objects in the splicing blocks, breaking the constraint of space, and the ambiguity made the shapes begin to overlap, making the objects present a new deconstruction.
Five thematic sculpture installations take you to explore the possibilities of integrated three-dimensional collages in space.
With his unique perspective and expression techniques, Picasso disassembled and reorganized objects to form a new visual image. These works not only show Picasso's persistent pursuit of art and innovative spirit, but also reflect his profound thinking and humanistic care for social reality. The audience can also hands-on painting experience, experience the creative process of Cubism art, and feel the infinite possibilities of art.
