TENOR | Peter Lodahl
Peter Lodahl, the Danish tenor, made waves with his performance of "Dichterliebe" at the 2020 OPUS Klassik Awards, earning nods for "Singer of the Year" and "Best Art Song Recording." The coming season will present Peter in opera-houses and concert-venues throughout Europe and beyond.
In the season 24/25 he debuted roles such as: Cavaradossi Tosca, Dick Johnson La Fanciulla del West and concerts in Mexico, China and Europe. His performances include numerous highlights, such as the title role in the European premiere of John Harbison's opera "The Great Gatsby" at Semperoper Dresden, alongside leading divas like Anna Netrebko, Lise Davidsen, Barbara Hannigan, Patricia Petibon, Anne Sofie von Otter, and Danielle de Niese.
Lodahl frequently collaborates with top orchestras and conductors, gracing renowned venues worldwide, from Musikverein Wien to Staatsoper Berlin. Alongside his singing career, Peter Lodahl has pursued a career in artistic leadership, serving as the festival director for the Copenhagen Opera Festival from 2016 to 2019 and as the music director for the Copenhagen Philharmonic from 2019 to 2024. With recordings on esteemed labels and prestigious awards like the Aksel Schiötz Prize, Lodahl's impact on the music scene is profound, cementing his status as a Knight of the Order of Dannebrog since 2013.
CONDUCTOR | JunPing Qian
Internationally acclaimed conductor Junping Qian is praised for his natural musicianship, spellbinding interpretations and easy rapport with the orchestras he works with. He was the First Prize winner of the 2017 Bucharest International Conducting Competition, the 3rd Prize and the Orchestra Prize in 7th Edition of Lovro Matacic Competition in Zagreb, Croatia, the 3rd Prize of Hans von Bülow Conducting Competition in 2021 and 3rd Prize of Princess Astrid Conducting Competition in Norway in 2022. During 2018-2020, he served as the Assistant Conductor of Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and Strategic Advisor and Residential Artist of Shanghai & Royal College of Music London Joint Institute. In 2022/23 season, he serves as the rotating assistant conductor of Orchestre de Paris. During 2024-2026, Junping Qian serves as the Principal Guest Conductor of Satu Mare Philharmonic Orchestra Dinu Lipatti. Since September 2025, Junping has been appointed as the Music Director of Chamber Philharmonia ZJCM in Hangzhou, the only professional chamber orchestra in China.
Recently, he made debuts with BBC Symohony Orchestra, Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, China National Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and Chengdu Symphony Orchestra; notably with the Minnesota Orchestra, he created the Lunar New Year project from scratch and has been in charge of this project for 3 consecutive years; he completed Brahms Symphony Cycle with China National Center of Performing Arts Orchestra along with world-renowned conductors Daniele Gatti, Myung-whun Chung and Lü Jia; He has opened the YMCG Music Festival in Guangzhou; in November 2024, he conducted Guangzhou Opera House’s opera “Marco Polo” for the Italian President.
Other notable activities include a China Tour with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Teatro del Giglio Lucca, his South American debut with Orchestra SODRE in Montevideo, Uruguay, his North American professional debut with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. He was also proud to be invited to lead the Iasi Philharmonic Orchestra on a tour celebrating the 100th anniversary since the formation of Romania. He has conducted the Morningside Music Bridge Summer Festival in Boston, New York Summer Festival in Long island and taught as a visiting faculty in Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
