Peter Ovtcharov
Born in St. Petersburg, Russia. Studied at the St. Petersburg School for Talented Children with L. Rudowa and later at the Mozarteum University Salzburg with famous German piano pedagogue Karl-Heinz Kaemmerling.
National and international competition prizes and awards, including Silver Medaille at the 3rd International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians(ex aequo with Korean pianist Son Yeol-Eum, 1997), Vladimir Krainev Competition for Young Pianists(1992), the 1st Prize at the National Austrian competition "Gradus ad Parnassum"(2004), Silvio Bengalli Piano Prize(Italy, 2004), International Beethoven Competition in Vienna(2005), Boesendorfer Prize, Herbert von Karajan Foundation Stipend, Prize of Summer Academy Salzburg , “Young Artist of the Year” from the prestigious German festival "Kissinger Sommer".
Performed on international concert stages such a Golden Hall of Vienna Musikverein, Kirov Theater, Rudolfinum Prague, Munich Philharmony, Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Tokyo Opera City Hall, Great Hall of St. Petersburg Philharmony, Salzburg Mozarteum Great Hall and Seoul Art Center.
CD recordings, cooperation with Bavaria Classic Radio, artistic collaboration with Betrand de Billy, Adrian Brendel , Michael Collins and other international acknowledged musicians. Guest Professor and Artist in Residence of the Allegro Vivo Summer Academy, Austria(since 2008), Guest Professor at the Showa University Tokyo(2011-2013), Music Alta Summer Academy in Alsace, France and many other masterclasses in Europa and Asia. Professor at the Yonsei University Seoul.
Concert performances in all major concert halls in Korea, with various Korean orchestras and conductors, recorded and broadcasted by YTN, SBS, MBC and ARTE.

Ilya Rashkovskiy is the first prize winner of the following competitions: the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition (first prize and Public Prize, Japan, 2012), the Citta di Pinerolo Competition (Italy, 2012), the International Jaen Competition (Spain, 2005), and at the Hong Kong International Competition (2005). He is among the top prize winners of the Long – J. Thibaud Competition in Paris (2nd Place), Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels (4th Place) and Artur Rubinstein Piano Masters in Tel Aviv (3rd Place).
When he was only five years old, Ilya Rashkovskiy began to play piano. A year later, he began to compose. At the age of eight, he gave his first concert with the Irkusk Chamber Orchestra. From 1993 to 2000 he studied at the Novosibirsk State Conservatory with Professor Mary Lebenzon. From 2000 to 2009 he studied at the Musikhochschule in Hannover with Professor Vladimir Krainev and finally at the École Normale Supérieure Alfred Cortot in Paris with Professor Marian Rybicki.
