This course is introducing the techniques of making basic designs, exploring the construction process of patterns and draping methods.

This will be your first step into the pattern making, so having your favorite top or skirt, fitting you perfectly, will be fun and totally easy to learn. That’s not all, with the draping technique you will learn how to develop any creative design, directly on the mannequin!

 

 

 

 

 

OBJECTIVES
• Take the correct body measurements
• Develop own sets of blocks
• Acquire the ability to develop muslin basic designs on the dress form.
• Acquire the ability to develop pattern interpretations according to the style lines of a sketch.
