From July 17 to July 31, 2025, under the guidance of Shanghai Grand Theatre Art Center, Shanghai Chinese Orchestra and Cadillac Shanghai Concert Hall jointly launched the sixth round of "New Oriental Chinese Music Scene" performances, a total of 140 records to continue the legend, lighting up the summer of Shanghai in July, and adding a wonderful stroke to the summer tour in Shanghai.

 

 

Through the organic fusion of Chinese music, lighting, and stage space, the performance employs the unique lyrical aesthetics of traditional Chinese culture to construct a poetic realm with traditional beauty and modern temperament, which is expressive in emotion and rhythm. Ethereal and elegant, forceful and vast, these nine original works of Shanghai-style Chinese music in diverse styles are staged in succession, breaking the aural boundaries; the lighting and visual designs transcend the picture-frame stage and pervade the theater space, innovating with Shanghai-style Chinese music in the digital era through multi-dimensional presentation of audio-visual integration. The audience will be embraced by a palpable artistic journey, diving into the cultural genes in the bloodline and exploring the infinite possibilities of the city.
