Tung-Chieh Chuang is the celebrated winner of the Malko Competition 2015 in Copenhagen. The 32-year-old conductor from Taiwan stood out amongst a panel of 317 contestants with much natural talent and few nerves. Connected with the prize are numerous engagements with leading international orchestras including Munich Philharmonic, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Oslo Philharmonic, Helsinki Philharmonic, and moreover as a special prize, an invitation to the Vienna Philharmonic.
