The Moscow Classical Ballet Theatre, founded in 1995 by the dance master Safonova Irina as artistic director, has always been committed to the inheritance and development of the Russian classical ballet tradition. The current Director, Galina Salimova, leads the company with her outstanding leadership. The members of the company are all highly skilled and talented dancers from Russia's leading dance schools.
Over the years, the Ballet has been a shining star in the development of countless new dance stars, and many of its graduates have gone on to shine on larger stages and become pillars of major ballet theatres. With its excellent performance quality, the company quickly gained a firm foothold in the European market, won extensive media attention and industry praise, and toured all over Europe, becoming a bridge connecting Eastern and Western ballet culture.
It is especially worth mentioning that every year on the occasion of the New Year, the company will carefully prepare as many as six classic ballets to start a grand tour in Europe, with more than a hundred performances, bringing the audience a double feast for the eyes and the mind. This is not only a tribute to the traditional ballet art, but also a powerful impetus to the development of ballet art in the new era.
The Moscow Classical Ballet Theatre of Russia often performs the most popular ballets, in addition to the most famous Tchaikovsky's three major ballets Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty, as well as Giselle, Don Quixote, Gabrielle, Nymphs, The Dancing Girl, Romeo and Juliet, and Can't Help It Daughters, etc. In 2024 they will tour with six productions of ballet. will tour China with six productions, led by Director Galina Salimova, of the Company's most popular ballets Swan Lake, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Dancing Girl, Romeo and Juliet and Nymphs.
