Synopsis by Acts
Act I
Buenos Aires, an empty theater. The dancers rehearse with intensity, stretching, repeating steps, correcting each other under the director’s watchful eye. As the rehearsal reaches its peak, a mysterious man suddenly appears. His movements are both elegant and powerful, embodying the essence of the Argentine malevo. His presence captivates the entire room, especially Alma, the leading dancer. Their eyes meet; time seems to stand still. A passionate duet unfolds, charged with desire, resistance, and tension.
When the dance ends, he reaches out his hand—only to vanish. Despite her companions’ warnings, Alma, torn between fear and fascination, chooses to follow.
Act II
A dim, mysterious space in the heart of the city. Here, the man reigns with his followers, their ritualistic dances embodying desire, obedience, and dependence. Silence falls as Alma enters, tense yet resolute. She is soon surrounded, drawn into a cold, relentless dance of domination and resistance.
At last, the man reappears. Their duel begins through tango: he seeks control, while she defies him with determination. Power clashes with freedom, desire collides with love.
In the struggle, Alma awakens her inner strength. Through resilience and forgiveness, she breaks the shadows, transforming the space itself. No longer a victim, she emerges as an equal. Together, they step into light, united by love and renewal.
