The musical was composed by Konstantin Wecker , Christopher Franke and Nic Raine , who also took care of the integration of the songs of the former into a complete musical arrangement and also acts as musical director. Ludwig² is the successor musical of Ludwig II - Longing for Paradise , which was shown from 2000 to 2003 in the Füssener Festspielhaus (now Ludwigs Festspielhaus Füssen ), then called the Neuschwanstein Musical Theater .
