Li-Wei Qin, cellist
As one of the most sought-after cellists of his generation, Chinese Australian Li-Wei Qin has appeared all over the world as a soloist and as a chamber musician. After being awarded the Silver Medal at the 11th Tchaikovsky International Competition, Li-Wei won First Prize in the prestigious 2001 Naumburg Competition in New York.

Two times as soloist at the BBC Proms in London’s Royal Albert Hall, Li-Wei has enjoyed successful artistic collaborations with many of the top orchestras including all the BBC symphony orchestras, Los Angeles Philharmonic, London Philharmonic among many others.

Currently Li-Wei Qin teaches at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory, National University of Singapore. He is also a guest professor at Shanghai and Central Conservatory of Music in China, as well as guest professor in Chamber Music at the Royal Northern College of Music. As artistic director, Li-Wei successful founded the annual Qingdao International Cello festival in 2018.
 
 
As a faculty in Shanghiai Conservatory fo Music(SHCM), a member of Shanghai Musician Association, Ms. Jonie Qiuning Huang received her double bachelor degrees in piano and electric keyboard from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2009, and furthered her master degree at the same institution. In 2014, she complete another master’s degree in collaborative piano from the New England Conservatory .
As a solo pianist and a chamber musician, Ms. Huang appeared worldwide including United States,Canada, China, Austria, Poland among many other major countries. She has collaborated with some great orchestras and musicians such as: Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Nobuco Imai (world famous violist), Feng Ning(world famous violinist), Martti Roussi (world famous cellist) and others. She has frequently been invited to give performances in music festivals and play in international competitions, such as Mozarteum Festival (Austria), Morningside Bridge, Walnut Hill Festival (USA), Banff Festival ( Canada) , Queen Elizabeth international competition and others.

Ms. Huang has been a faculty member at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and devotes herself to chamber music teaching and and performances.
