The 2023 Yuyuan Lantern Festival is still a warm reminder of people's memories, and the 2024 Yuyuan Lantern Festival is approaching. 2024 Yuyuan Folk Art Lantern Festival will be a continuation of 2023's "Mountains and Seas of Wonderful Yu", which will tell the story of "Sea and Mountains" from the mountain scriptures to the sea scriptures, from the land to the sea, from the myth to the magic, from China to the world. As a national intangible cultural heritage, the Yuyuan Lantern Festival has become a landmark Chinese New Year cultural event in Shanghai since it was held in 1995, and has been held for 28 times so far. In 2024, the Yuyuan Lantern Festival will usher in the 29th blooming of the festival, and unveil the mystery of the starry sea in the strong flavour of the New Year.

This is not only a sensory experience, but also a cultural collision. The Yuyuan Lantern Festival will fully demonstrate the oriental aesthetic culture, Shanghai's international cultural metropolis and the national confidence of traditional Chinese culture, tell the story of Yuyuan, tell the story of Shanghai, tell the story of China for the people of the world, including France, and convey the most sincere and beautiful blessings for the relationship between China and France, show the East and West cultures, each with its own beauty, the beauty of the splendid chapter, presenting a feast of culture and art, a celebration of laughter and joy. Two cities and two gardens are lit up by one night of fish and dragon dance on stage
On 15th December, the theme light set "One Night Fish and Dragon Dance" will be lit up simultaneously with the French Lantern Festival in Shanghai Yuyuan Garden. In the sky above Ningshui Road of Shanghai Yuyuan Garden, the colourful fish converge to form a swimming dragon, swimming between the eaves and arches, bringing the prosperous scene of the Lantern Festival of the New Year's Eve depicted in Xin Qiji's "The Case of the Green Jade - New Year's Eve" to the present day and night. Friends and relatives gather together to enjoy the lanterns, and when you look back, you will find a beautiful woman there.
