The musical Lady M is co-written by James Beeny and Gina Georgio, the best young creators in the UK. As the first musical on the stage of 1862 Centre, Lady M opens the form of Sino-foreign co-creation, taking the path of incubating international creative talents and excellent works, and creatively presenting them with an international team of actors and an all-English format, it will become the first English original musical produced by a Chinese team and completed its world premiere in Shanghai, which is of special significance as a milestone in the history of China's musical theatre.
