The KGBL Chamber Choir (Chamber Choir Konservatorija za glasbo in balet Ljubljana) consists of about 35 members. Its singers are students aspiring for greater challenges in the vocal field and those who had already concluded education and continue their path at the Academy of Music or other faculties.
The Chamber Choir aims to realize the artistic aspirations of individuals and to become familiar with the literature of various styles and genres, from the Renaissance to today. The choir gives special attention to performing compositions by Slovenian composers and includes the works of the youngest generation of composers in its repertoire.
They carried out first performances of numerous new pieces, written especially for the choir, and reaped many a success at competitions at home and internationally (Tallinn, Gdansk, Prague ... ). The choir performs under the leadership of conductor and composer Ambrož Čopi, along with his assistant Tine Bec.
