Byron Hill is a North American musician and composer.Born into a musical family, Byron Hill began playing piano at the age of five. His father, Willie Hill, was a freelance musician and educator, playing with top musicians of the time such as Sammie Davis jr., George Burns, The Temptations, Liza Minnelli, Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie and many others. Byron began his professional music career in an environment of top musical talent, and at the age of 13, he began playing in local bars and clubs, honing his jazz, funk and R&B skills. After high school, Byron moved to Howard University where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies/Piano. After graduating from Howard, he remixed Dru Hill's Grammy hit ‘In My Bed’ and wrote with 702, Kvrasi Brone, Master P, Ronnie Henson, etc. In 2009, Byron travelled to Shanghai with master funk musician In 2009, Byron travelled to Shanghai with Funk master DNote and began playing in the city on a permanent basis.
