On 28th June, Martin's Mood, a Paris-based singer-songwriter who has become a hit on Chinese social media platforms, will be bringing his original compositions to JZ Club to kick off the China premiere of his ‘One Voice, Two Worlds: Pop Music From Paris To Shanghai’!
Martin's Mood has been on Xiaohongshu since January 2025, documenting and sharing his music with his camera and establishing a wonderful and authentic connection with Chinese listeners. Beyond algorithms and traffic, his sincerity and talent have gained him over 80,000 followers in just a few months.
His music is a blend of synth pop and R&B, with a romantic and delicate style and poetic compositions that touch people's hearts, gently and sincerely telling stories of love, self-exploration and growth with touching melodies.
He covered Zhou Shen's ‘Big Fish’ and ‘Little Beauty’ in Chinese in front of the famous landmarks in Paris, perfectly interpreting the soft mood and delicate emotions in the context of Chinese culture from an exotic perspective, weaving the emotions of the East and the West into a musical language that belongs uniquely to him, and unknowingly establishing a deep emotional connection with the Chinese audience.
In addition to the Chinese cover, he will also perform the eagerly awaited Chinese version of ‘Time After Time’, released in March this year! Released in March this year, this new song has won numerous praises for its ear-catching melody, and I believe that at JZ Club, it will once again link up the memories and touches from both time and space, triggering an unexpected resonance of the heart.
