Amidst the scorching sunshine and salty sea breeze of Miami, a brand new voice is rising - Chronology. This band, active in the forefront of jazz scenes in Miami, consists of three top performers who weave a soundscape network spanning Latin jazz, Funk Fusion, and rock metal using piano, electric bass, and drums. Their music is like a hurricane in Florida: it has both precise calculated trajectories and violent energy that destroys all conventions.
The band members include:
Juan Posso, the most representative national treasure level drum master in Ecuador - if you think he looks like Jack Sparrow who stole countless hearts from girls in Pirates of the Caribbean, don't doubt that he can indeed use his drumsticks to stir up the same storm, except that his "Black Pearl" is a set of drums.
Jazz electric bassist Zhang Tianyu from Chengdu - the helmsman under Captain Jack's command. His bass is deep sea waves, and the melody is pirate songs with surging undercurrents. On the rhythmic deck, he is the helmsman who controls the rhythm.
Pianist Mou Taibai from Shanghai - the killer of Captain Jack, his fingertips are lightning striking through black sails, his keys are bumpy decks and wild waves, every improvisation is a thrilling plunder.
Despite coming from different continents, they share a common pursuit of rhythm and improvisational tension, making this' Power Trio 'a perfect match on the stage in Miami.
Our voice blends the unique atmosphere of Miami, "drummer Posso explained (while casually shaking his pirate style long hair)," here we have the Latin bloodline of the Caribbean, the rock energy of China, and the encounter of exotic melodies - of course, there is also a bit of improvisational wildness of 'Pirates of the Caribbean'
Are you ready to board the ship? The rhythmic wave of Chronology is about to sweep through your ears!
