A virtuoso, touching and breath-taking program by Pierre Fouchenneret and Jérémy Jouve, two unmissable artists at the peak of their powers, involving some of the biggest names in classical music, such as Kreisler, Piazzolla, Corelli and Bach.
Jérémy Jouve, named “new global ambassador for classical guitar around the world” by FIP international radio, continues to record and tour with one objective in mind: to integrate classical guitar with modernity. With his exceptional career trajectory (prize-winner at the Conservatoire aged 13, first European tour aged 16, and winner of the GFA international guitar competition in Mexico aged 24), Jérémy Jouve’s playing is marked by its strong impression of sincerity.
Pierre Fouchenneret is a resident artist at the Singer Foundation in Polignac. From a very young age, his playing has had a highly distinctive style. Aged 12, he won first prize for violin at the Nice National Conservatoire, and later, aged 16, the first prize for violin and chamber music at the Paris Conservatoire. He is a laureate of the Natexis Banque Populaire foundation and winner of the Grand Prix at the Bordeaux International Chamber Music Competition.
