Opera, as a musical form inherited for hundreds of years, perfectly combines classical music and voice, and becomes a shining pearl in a variety of musical forms.
On January 24-25, Alla Sokolovskaia, a Russian mezzo-soprano from the International Association of Professional Musicians in Italy, together with her husband Vitaliy Sokolovskiy, a Russian pianist/composer, Zhu Donghuan, a well-known bassist from Shanghai, and Shen Wanghao, a young drummer, brought a crossover between jazz and opera!
A jazzy version of opera and an operatic version of jazz classics.

Vocal: Alla Sokolovskaia
Alla Sokolovskaia -mezzo-soprano from Russia, Member of The International Association of the Professional Musicians "Giardino delle Arti" (Milano, Italy). Studied at the Rostov State Conservatory named after S. Rachmaninoff like an opera singer. Alla had her post-graduate courses in Italy with Maria-Letizia Grosselli (soprano, soloist of the theater "Arena di Verona"). Alla got tours in Netherlands(Amsterdam, Utrecht, IJsselstein), Belgium and Germany, concerts in Italy and Russia. Since 2017 till 2020 Alla was the guest soloist in the IJsselstein State Music Theater, Netherlands. Now Alla lives and work in China, teaches classical singing in the university.
Piano:Vitaliy Sokolovskiy
Vitaliy Sokolovskiy is pianist and arranger from Russia. Vitaliy studied at the Rostov State Conservatory named after S. Rachmaninoff. Winner of many International and all-Russia competitions, Vitaliy follows active concerts activity like solo pianist, accompanist and arranger. Since 2017 Vitaliy with his wife Alla have tours in Europe and Russia with programs: "Russian Christmas", "Revolution in the Russian classical concert", "Evening in Vienna"", "Winter dreams" and others. Nowadays Vitaliy lives and work in the university in China.
