Christian Sands
Christian Sands, a Steinway contracted artist and five Grammy nominations, has become a new force in jazz. His jazz has a completely different expression. An exciting and creative talent, the first album "Reach" released by MacAvenue in spring 2017, and the tour of new music created for the company's first appearance, will truly become a legend that can be seen and heard! Most famous is his collaboration with Christian McBride, a Grammy-nominated artist who showcases material from his new Mack Avenue album Facing Dragons.
Ryan Sands
Born in 1994, Ryan Sands is an up-and-coming artist hailing from Orange, CT. He’s had the pleasure of performing alongside many musicians such as Dave Holland, Nick Smart, Phil Markowitz, Dominique Eade, and George Garzone just to name a few. He’s played at various venues and festivals in the United States. Some of those venues include Mezzrow in New York, Green Mill in Chicago, Blues Alley in D.C., Central Ave. Jazz Festival in California, and Scullers Jazz Club in Boston.
Yasushi Nakamura
Yasushi Nakamura is praised for imaginative, quicksilver bass lines that deepen the groove. His blend of guitar-like precision and gut-level blues has sparked collaborations with artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Wycliffe Gordon, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Hank Jones, Dave Douglas, Steve Miller, etc. With his charismatic stage presence and artful, hard-swinging melodic touch, Nakamura is a first-call performer capturing new audiences and fans around the world.
