Christian Sands, a Steinway contracted artist and five Grammy nominations, has become a new force in jazz. His jazz has a completely different expression. Born in 1994, Ryan Sands is an up-and-coming artist hailing from Orange, CT. He’s had the pleasure of performing alongside many musicians such as Dave Holland, Nick Smart, Phil Markowitz, Dominique Eade, and George Garzone just to name a few. He’s played at various venues and festivals in the United States. Some of those venues include Mezzrow in New York, Green Mill in Chicago, Blues Alley in D.C., Central Ave. Jazz Festival in California, and Scullers Jazz Club in Boston.

 

 

 

Yasushi Nakamura is praised for imaginative, quicksilver bass lines that deepen the groove.
