Saxphone: Huang Ye
Born in Shenzhen, China in 1998, Huang Ye has emerged on the international music scene with his extraordinary talent and relentless dedication. He is not only a virtuoso of the clarinet, saxophone, and piano but also a highly acclaimed rising composer. In 2019, at the age of 21, he became the youngest Backun Clarinet artist. Since 2022, he has served as an Arts Ambassador for the Global Education Forum (GEF), using the power of music to build bridges for cultural exchange. Huang is a longtime protégé of jazz legend Wynton Marsalis and renowned composer Tan Dun. He made history as the first Chinese young musician invited to perform with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra in New York and was featured at the CCTV New York Spring Festival Gala in 2024.
