An adventure through 4,500 years of time and space
The Immersive Discovery Experience is a 45-minute immersive virtual reality experience. It will take visitors on a new tour of the Pyramid of Khufu, the first of the Seven Wonders of the World.
In addition to getting a closer look at the inner workings and history of the pyramids and exploring mysterious areas that have never been opened to the public, visitors can also experience the thrill of climbing to the top of the pyramids for a panoramic view of the Giza Plateau, travelling back 4,500 years to the 4th Dynasty to sail on a Sun Boat on the River Nile, or taking part in an Ancient Egyptian ritual to enjoy an infinite and mysterious beauty. Uncover the mysteries of ancient Egyptian civilisation.
What is Immersive Expedition?
Immersive Expedition is a unique model of virtual reality experience. During the 45-minute experience, viewers are free to walk around the space and see the world's sights in the same way they would in real life. Immersive Exploration also supports multi-member teams that move through the scenario together and share the exploration experience. Members can talk and interact with each other.
Authoritative Academic Team
The exhibition is under the academic direction of the Giza Project team at Harvard University, which ensures that all details and descriptions in the project are in line with archaeologists' research certifications. The exhibition data is based on field holographic scans of the pyramid's interior and surroundings, reconstructed and restored on a virtual engine with high 1:1 accuracy.

- This programme is a rotational entry. Due to the limited number of people that can be accommodated in the experience area at the same time, in order to avoid the audience waiting for a long time, we recommend that you make a reservation at [博新元宇宙] WeChat official account before visiting.
- Visitors who have successfully made a reservation and arrive within the reservation time will be able to enter the "Reservation" channel, while those who have not made a reservation or who have not arrived within the reservation time will be able to wait in the "Unreserved Channel" and consult the on-site staff about the waiting time. The latest entry time is 21:00.
- The reservation time is not the start time of the experience, we will arrange the entrance according to the order of arrival of each group of visitors, each group will be 5 minutes apart.
- This project is a large space immersive virtual reality exploration experience, under normal circumstances will not cause a sense of vertigo.
- This project requires wearing equipment, the weight of the headset is 0.7kg, the weight of the backpack is 5kg.
- Children under 6 years of age are not allowed to enter, children over 8 years of age and under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian with a ticket to enter, and the whole time by a guardian to help walking
- Pregnant women over 6 months old are advised to purchase tickets with caution. For safety reasons, the organisers will provide wheelchairs for pregnant women.
- Please wear suitable walking shoes on the day of the experience.
- No photography or filming is allowed in the experience area.
- Tickets are non-refundable once sold.
