


World’s best sommelier and top-name celebrity chef will be presenting best Chinese wines and creative new dishes pairing gala dinner on 18th May 2017, which will be held at Park Hyatt Beijing. All the best wines selected by World’s best sommelier Paolo Basso for the gala dinner are from RVF best Chinese wines awards.

Paolo Basso is a Swiss-Italian sommelier who won the Best Sommelier of the World title in 2013. He is one of only six sommeliers in the world to have won both the European and global titles for ‘Best Sommelier’ and among the rare few sommeliers to have reached the final level of an international competition eight times.

Jack Aw Yong is Singaporean executive chef of the Park Hyatt Beijing, he has built a formidable reputation among Beijing’s gourmets, creating a few landmark dishes that have high accolades in a city of foodies. He has been recognized in several global competitions, including the Top in Asia award at the Bocuse d'Or Cooking Competition in Lyon, France, and won the Sapporo International Culinary Art Contest in Sapporo, Japan.
