Los Angeles' famous beat music night LOW END THEORY has ended its legendary weekly run and is branching out, bringing two of its regular curator / DJs -- D-Styles and DJ Nobody! Low End Theory help launch many big names in electronic music today -- Flying Lotus, Daedelus, Nosaj Thing, Free The Robots, Tokimonsta, Gaslamp Killer, The Glitch Mob, Daddy Kev - and of course, D-Styles and DJ Nobody.

 

 

 

DJ Nobody
DJ Nobody is an abstract hip hop producer based in Los Angeles. He has collaborated with Prefuse 73, Postal Service, 2Mex, Abstract Rude, Freestyle Fellowship, Busdriver, Mystic Chords of Memory, Blank Blue, and Bomb Zombies. He's released on Ubiquity and Alpha Pup Records. DJ Nobody is also something of an expert on 60s psychedelic rock and funk.

 

 

 

D-Styles
D-Styles a member of turntablist pioneer groups the Invisibl Skratch Piklz and the Beat Junkies. In 2002, D-Styles released his solo album, Phantazmagorea, on Beat Junkie Sound. It was described by Fact Magazine as "the perfect evolution of hip hop's sample addiction: an album made entirely of samples manipulated by the human hand."

 

 

 

DJ Cavia
DJ Cavia, Being one of the most skilled and talented DJs in China, Cavia started his CD collection at the age of young, fresh age of 13. He started scratching at the age of 20, and within two years, he won the DMC championship in China, and now represents China in the world DMC contests. He is also the current record holder of the youngest DMC champion.Cavia has joined one of the Shanghai’s most experienced electronic music group Antidote, and the recently very active Shanghai label SHFT. He is also one of the principals of DMC China. Cavia has worked and shared the stage with a lot of famous DJ and singers like Skrillex, Diplo, DJ Snake, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, DJ Q-Bert, A-Trak, Tyga, etc.

 

 

DJ TOY, born Allyson Toy, is a Shanghai/NYC based DJ and music industry professional who is as sought after for her talent behind the turntables as her experience working with artists worldwide. DJ TOY seamlessly bridges hip hop, R&B, dance and sounds of the global underground, making her a versatile performer perfect for any crowd.
