Ludwig van Beethoven

1770.12.16 - 1827.3.26

Beethoven composed five sonatas for piano and cello in his lifetime, which are small in number but of great significance. When the composer created, he broke the subordinate position of the cello in the sonata, and made full use of the performance and characteristics of the cello. Both the syntax and the melody showed rich content, allowing the cello to have the same power as the piano, making the two instruments Mutual achievement also allows the cello to fully bloom its own brilliance.

The time span of the creation of the repertoire of this concert is very wide: Beethoven has experienced different creative stages in the past 20 years, and the style evolution of each stage is fully reflected in these works, and each capital is endowed with a unique musical beauty. Each has its own charm.
