At 65, Mr.W had spent his life in a steady, closed loop: the routine of work and the warmth of his wife’s company were his only anchors. When his wife passed away, the loop shattered, and he was cast adrift in a void of weightlessness.
Days stretched long and empty; familiar streets, meals, and furniture became sharp reminders of what was lost. He went through the motions mechanically, yet could no longer feel the warmth of life, his very breath heavy with exhaustion. Until chance encounters and small, unspoken kindnesses seeped into his sealed world like faint light, stirring his silent heart back to life. He began to learn how to pick up the pieces, to find new reasons to keep going amid a life broken apart.
