The exhibition features works from the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum, one of Asia's most diverse and important museums in terms of art collection and display. The Tokyo Fuji Art Museum was founded on the initiative of Japanese author Daisaku Ikeda and houses a collection of over 30,000 works of art from East and West, including paintings, prints, sculptures, photographs, lacquerware, ceramics, swords, armour and emblems, with Western painting from the Renaissance to the modern era at the heart of its collection. This exhibition follows the grand opening of "500 Years of Western Painting - The Collection of the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum" in 2019, and is another major cross-border cultural and artistic exchange between China and Japan.
