Chinese Football is a four-piece indie rock/emo/post rock band based in Wuhan. Chinese Football formed in 2011 when vocalist Xubo meets guitarist Wang Bo. The band’s lineup solidified when bassist Li lixin joined in. 

 

 

 

Chinese Football tries to keep the original tension of punk music and operating with a DIY attitude. Citing late 1990s emo pioneers like Jimmy Eat World, Get Up Kids and American Football as inspiration, Chinese Football specializes in a potent guitar-bass-driven wistful indie rock sound. Mixed brain-washed guitar riffs with Mandarin lyrics, Chinese Football devoted to expressing the fantasy of youth and its frustration.

 

 

After released 2 Ep and 1 full length album,2 China tour,1 Japan tour and 1 East Asia tour.Chinese Football was considered the most important emo/mathrock band in Asia.

 

In early 2019, Chinese Football will release a new Ep and will have a 35-show tour in China.
