Adapted for the stage and directed by Arran R Hawkins, the director behind the much loved family shows The Snow Queen, OZ and The Little Prince.
Christian Jolibois and Christian Heinrich, author and illustrator respectively, created a series of books based on the adventures of Carmela the little chicken, and her offspring.

She wants to see the sea! Join her as she leaves the farm and sets out on a mission that will take her far from home and everything she has known, across the ocean and to the new world. Along the way we will meet sailors and pirates, aliens, and one or two famous humans.

It has been ranked as the most popular book for Chinese kids on amazon.
And it remains one of the most beloved bedtime books for bedtime reading.
The story is so popular in China that even the English version is published in China.
