The Cancer Bats have come to destroy. Fueled by a burning desire to rage harder, play louder and have more fun than any other band, Cancer Bats mix hardcore, southern metal, and punk rock into a lethal rock and roll explosion.
The band formed in May of 2004 with singer Liam Cormier and guitarist Scott Middleton, Jaye R. Schwarzer on bass and Mike Peters on drums. The four-piece wasted no time writing and recording songs for a self-released demo that saw light in January of 2005.
Determined to spread the gospel of rage and get their music heard, the Cancer Bats spent the next years touring extensivel. The Cancer Bats explosive live shows inspire floor punching, windmills, and arm spins. The have played at festivals like Download Festival, Sonisphere, Groezrock, Reading and Leeds Festivals, Mighty Sounds, Hellfest and many more.
With 6 studio album releases, there is a helacious buzz about the Bats that fuels them around the planet, and they are finally coming to China.
The Cancer Bats have toured with bands like Billy Talent, Rise Against, Bring Me The Horizon, Alexisonfire, Every Time I Die, Anti-Flag, The Gallows, Protest the Hero, Comeback Kid, Cursed and many more.
Exploding from the burgeoning China hardcore scene ("CNHC"), Shanghai's Spill Your Guts bring a raw, D.I.Y. punk spirit to a movement as transient as it is dangerous. Comprising a quintet of expatriate members -- vocalist Dima (Moscow), drummer Tyler (Montreal), guitarists Larry (Edinburgh) and Martin (Copenhagen), and bassist Ian (Quebec) -- SYG were formed in 2012 by Dima, Tyler, and founding bassist Toshi. Over the years, contending with eight separate members moving in and out of the country, as well as pressure from capricious government regulations, they experienced a flurry of roster changes, with Ian, and Larry all joining in 2016 and Martin returning in 2018.

The band's first live show was in April 2012, with a pair of live EPs released independently before 2014, when they issued the five-track Slip and Fall EP. Featuring a bloody delivery reminiscent of Fucked Up, Pears, and Cancer Bats, Slip and Fall was quickly followed by the one-off single "Poisoned Minds" later that summer. A split 7" with Russian hardcore brethren Broken Fist dropped in December 2014. As SYG continued to tour in mainland China, they found their way to sweaty stages in Singapore, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur. In the summer of 2016, they released their follow-up EP, Full Blast. In September 2017 SYG released their first full length album "Hungry Crows' followed by a cross Russia 5000 km tour.
